Introducing The Oxaloacetate CFS Journal For Healing

Introducing The Oxaloacetate CFS Journal For Healing

Before you begin taking Oxaloacetate CFS, and regularly throughout your therapy, it is useful to formally track the improvement of your symptoms and share the data with your doctor and healthcare team.

A Simple, Scientifically Validated Tool For Tracking ME/CFS Fatigue

Tracking ME/CFS fatigue symptoms over time can be difficult. That's why we're proud to launch the Oxaloacetate CFS Journal for Healing. Included free with every first purchase of Oxaloacetate CFS, this spiralbound journal includes scientifically validated forms for assessing the different components of fatigue and tracking them over time.

Chalder Fatigue Scale

This journal includes the Chalder Fatigue Scale. This is an essential tool for tracking
improvements in energy levels among ME/CFS patients due to its clinical testing and comprehensive, patient-centered design.

The Chalder Fatigue Scale, with its simple questionnaire format, assesses both physical and mental fatigue, allowing healthcare providers to understand a patient's fatigue severity and its impact on daily activities. This scale's reliability and validity make it a trusted instrument for clinical settings, ensuring that changes in a patient's condition are accurately captured over time. Regular use of the Chalder Fatigue Scale enables healthcare providers to tailor treatment plans more effectively.

A Library of Vetted Resources To Support Your ME/CFS Healing Journey

Along with the Chalder Fatigue Score, the Oxaloacetate CFS Journal For Healing includes a library of high-quality resources curated from the Centers for Disease Control, Research Institutions, Universities and CFS Patient Advocacy Organizations.

These include:

  • Therapist designed and narrated guided meditations to carry you through all aspects of the ME/CFS experience
  • Resources to best advocate for your optimum care
  • Help navigating healthcare systems
  • Diagnostic and management information for key comobidities
  • Diet and lifestyle interventions for ME/CFS symptom management
  • Forms for tracking current medications and
    supplements
  • Gratitude journaling prompts to encourage a calm, positive mindset

Consideration for severe ME/CFS and the Chalder Fatigue Score

The Chalder Fatigue Scale is often used in ME/CFS studies and is validated for mild
and moderate ME/CFS fatigue. Very severe cases have a “ceiling effect” problem, in which the fatigue levels are too high to measure with the Chalder Fatigue Scale. If your Fatigue is severe, you may want to come up with an alternative method to quantitatively measure your fatigue. One way to do this is to take a favorite activity that you can do a bit now-- such as reading for “X” minutes, or being able to listen to music for “Y” minutes--- and measuring how “X” and “Y” changes on a weekly basis. Expect fluctuations with this, but the overall trend after several months will give you
an idea of a change in fatigue.
