Three ME/CFS Conferences in One Month
Aktie
At Oxaloacetate CFS, one of the most rewarding parts of our work is connecting directly with the clinicians, researchers, and patients who are dedicated to advancing the understanding of ME/CFS. This past month has been especially meaningful for our team as we’ve attended three major conferences focused on complex chronic illness, mitochondrial health, and emerging treatment approaches for ME/CFS.
From presenting our research in Berlin to speaking with integrative physicians in Arizona, and now preparing for our next conference in England, it’s been an exciting reminder that momentum in ME/CFS research is continuing to grow worldwide.
Presenting Our Poster at the International ME/CFS Conference in Berlin
Earlier this month, we had the honor of presenting a scientific poster at the 2026 International ME/CFS Conference in Berlin. The conference brought together researchers, clinicians, advocates, and patients from around the world to discuss the latest findings in ME/CFS research, Long COVID, mitochondrial dysfunction, neuroinflammation, and energy metabolism.
Our poster focused on oxaloacetate and its role in cellular energy production and fatigue-related pathways. It was incredibly valuable to share our work with experts in the field and engage in thoughtful conversations about metabolism, mitochondrial function, and the urgent need for additional ME/CFS research funding.
One of the most encouraging aspects of the conference was seeing how much attention metabolic dysfunction and energy impairment are finally receiving within the broader scientific community. For so many patients, these conversations are long overdue.
Attending the AAMP Conference in Arizona
Immediately after Berlin, our team traveled to Arizona for the Advanced Applications in Medical Practice (AAMP) Conference, where we connected with integrative and functional medicine practitioners interested in emerging approaches for chronic fatigue and complex illness.
We spoke with practitioners treating ME/CFS, Long COVID, fibromyalgia, chronic inflammation, and mitochondrial dysfunction, many of whom are increasingly interested in metabolic therapies and evidence-based supplementation.
Next Stop: England for the 18th International ME Conference 2026
And we’re not slowing down yet.
Next, we’re heading to England for the 18th International ME Conference 2026 hosted by Invest in ME Research, an organization that has been instrumental in advancing biomedical research and international collaboration in ME/CFS.
We’re looking forward to continuing conversations with researchers and advocates who are pushing the field forward and working toward a better future for people living with ME/CFS.
Why This Matters
At Oxaloacetate CFS, we believe progress happens through collaboration, scientific curiosity, and listening closely to patients’ lived experiences. Every conference, conversation, and research presentation helps move the field one step forward.
We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by our poster in Berlin, spoke with us in Arizona, and continues to support greater awareness and research into ME/CFS.
We’re excited for what comes next and look forward to sharing more updates from England soon.
